How Predikt works
1. Start with a public question
Every ticket asks something concrete about the real world: weather, elections, sport, energy, markets or culture. The question includes the source and the rule that will decide it.
2. Make a timestamped call
Choose an outcome, add confidence and, when useful, add your reasoning before the lock time. Predikt keeps that as a receipt, not a throwaway comment.
3. Compare the crowd and the desks
The live crowd line shows what everyone thinks. Creator desks add a second layer: specialists explain why they differ from the crowd and what would prove them wrong.
4. Reality resolves the record
Most questions settle from public data such as weather services, central banks, official results or league feeds. The result, source and proof note stay attached to the original call.
5. Trust compounds over time
Accuracy, calibration, streaks and resolved receipts show who actually saw something early. Points score skill and recognition; they are never money and can never be cashed out.
